Unable to upload individual iOS Photos with Dropbox 174.2

Unable to upload individual iOS Photos with Dropbox 174.2

Just noticied this in the past few weeks. I no longer can select a single photo in the iOS Photos app on my iPhone and upload it to Dropbox. I saw another post with a similar issue and the solution was to use Dropbox version 174.2 but I am alreayd on that version and it still isn't working. I can do everything except click the final 'Post' link as it remains grayed out no matter which folder I select in Dropbox.

I tried setting the Photos permissions for Dropbox to Never, then switching back to Read and Write to no avail.

Hi @wds, thanks for joining the Community!

It sounds like you’re ‘sharing’ an image to Dropbox instead of directly uploading an image, as also need to enter an email address to share the image, which is why the post button is greyed out.

Are you perhaps on the newest version of iOS? If so, you need to select the image like before, and then scroll down the list of options to find ‘Save to Dropbox’ (before iOS 13, there used to be a second row you had to scroll right).

If it’s not there, choose ‘Edit actions’ and then enable that option, and then you can choose that to upload images to your account from the app.

Hope this helps to clarify matters!

Yes, I see it now. It looks now the way it used to work, but works differently. But i see I have to scroll further now to upload. Thanks!
