Uncoupling Dropbox from my computer completely

Uncoupling Dropbox from my computer completely

Please help me unlink my "desktop" from Dropbox AND remove all Dropbox files from my computer. I've read your other posts and tried them all. I've stopped all backups. This then forced me to reformat my computer. I want Dropbox to delink from my computer. I'm extremely disappointed the uninstall function does not work.

Let me be clear. I do not want Dropbox on my computer. You broke it, you fix it, please!!!

In dropbox.com go to settings > Security. Scroll down to devices, then delete the link that is attached to the computer you want removed.

I think it has something to do with the fact I have two accounts. One personal and one business.
