Update of officials domains

is *.previews.dropboxusercontent.com a legitimate Dropbox subdomain? For which purposes it is used?

It is not listed in officials domains (https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/security/official-domains).

Since dropboxusercontent.com is a valid Dropbox domain, it's safe to assume that any subdomain of that domain is valid as well. In this case, it appears to be used for file previews.
