View sync issues layout issue on macOS Big Sur

The close button is not aligned in the title bar on Big Sur (not a problem on Mojave).

 

macOS 11.2.1 (20D74)

Dropbox v.116.4.368

Hi @dsc1, thanks for posting today!

We appreciate the feedback about the Dropbox desktop application.

Have you tried reinstalling the app using this link, without uninstalling it first, to see if this helps?

The first time the View sync issues window is opened it appears to be fixed but the issue returns after opening it again.

Have you rebooted your machine since doing the reinstallation of the app?

Just to make sure we're on the same page, are the buttons still working, just appearing misaligned @dsc1?

Have you recently rebooted your device? If not, please do so as this will refresh the app elements as well as the OS.

Also, out of curiosity, do you notice this with any other windows from the app, or any other apps on your device?

The close button responds to clicks when the mouse is over the button, the hover state changes when the mouse is over the title bar.

I already confirmed the device has been rebooted. Only Dropbox is affected.

 

Can't this bug just be triaged?

I did a fresh install of Dropbox on a 2020 MacBook Air also running macOS Big Sur 11.2.1 (20D74) and the problem is reproducible.

 

As a reproducible issue, I kindly ask you to stop suggesting restarts and reinstallations and just forward this issue to engineering?
