OMG. I'm ready to scream...back in the day, DropBox was much better. I realize things change. Clearly, not always for the better.
Sorry. Just so frustrated.
I bought a BUSINESS plan. But never got the email from DBx so I could set up the account. And since I can't get into the account, I can't get to the Admin console to get access to their support phone number. The stupid chat bot doesn't understand my problem. I think it is possible (cuz I don't know what else it would be) that I accidentally typed the email incorrectly and that's why they haven't sent me anything. Of course, they have charged my credit card. 🙂
The only other option is that DBx is confused because the email that I used to create the Biz account has also been used to share other files and folders from other people -- so it already has a login (as a free user, essentially). But you'd think they would've been able to figure that part out.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get around this idiocy and get my dang BropBox set up for my organization?
Unfortunately I can't help you with any of that, but I agree that customer support has been nearly nonexistent. I put in a ticket for support over a month ago and I'm still waiting. I was told via Twitter that my ticket had been "expedited," which just means that now someone emails me every few days to say they are "working" on it. And also, how do you "expedite" something that has already taken more than a month? It's a complete scam.
