When opening linked Excel files in Dropbox, I get an error "Links disabled".

When opening linked Excel files in Dropbox, I get an error "Links disabled".

after saving a group of linked excel files into dropbox, when re opening I get this massage. 

"Links DisabledLinks to external workbooks are not supported and have been disabled."

this has never happened before?

Hey @RP-86, thanks for reaching out to us here!

From the error message that you mentioned, it sounds like you're opening the file online with the Microsoft Office Online integration. Is that right?

Also, are the other files linked in your workbook using a local file path? Eg. C:\Documents\Excel file

Would you mind taking a look at this thread to see if the info there helps at all?
