Re: Why does the Final Draft file convert to a txt file when I download from my iPad to mac

Why does the Final Draft file convert to a txt file when I download from my iPad to mac

My file is saved as .fdx in the dropbox folder but when I press download it downloads as .fdx.txt and I cannot convert it back to the correct final draft format. Help, it's driving me crazy!
I can't drag the file into the final draft app either and can't option to which format to open the file in.
Any ideas??

Hey, I was having this problem too! There doesn't seem to be a response on here but I just figured it out. You just have to delete the .txt off the end of the filename and it fixes it.
