I have the Dropbox app on two different computers. If I uninstall it on one computer and delete the folder with the files, will it affect the second computer. In other words, will the files still be accessible on my second computer?

It won't affect the other computer. Just make sure you uninstall Dropbox before you start deleting files, so the deletions can't sync to your account.
