Hello,
I've installed Dropbox for Windows on my PC. Now I deleted it, but I can't remove the Dropbox folder. Also the path to my desktop changed. Before it was "C:\user\myname\Desktop", but now it's "C:\user\myname\Dropbox\My PC (Myname's Macbook)\Desktop".
I don't want the Dropbox Folder ("C:\user\myname\Dropbox") and also I don't want the changed path. Additionally in my Dropbox ther is a Folder named "My PC (Myname's Macbook)", but even though I uninstalled Dropbox from my PC I can't delete this folder.
Hi @Alex5285,
The issue name is "Computer Backup" feature that you have activated (intentionally or not). It's a bug that this feature isn't turning off at the uninstall time automatically. As a workaround you have to reinstall your Dropbox application, turn this feature off, and uninstall the application finally. Dropbox application isn't so smart, unfortunately. 🤷
Hope this helps.
Yes, thank you very much!
