Windows taskbar app leaks handles

Windows taskbar app leaks handles

I was reading a recent link on Hacker News (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27956720) about debugging handle leaks on Windows and I decided to check my PC to see if any of the apps I used were leaky. On my PC, the Dropbox taskbar app was top of the list with several thousand handles in use. Each time the icon is double-clicked to open the Dropbox folder, a few hundred new handles are created. I can't find any place to file a bug report with Dropbox so I'm posting this here.

Hey there @eric2021, welcome aboard and thanks for your diligence!

I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but we do have a bug bounty program on HackerOne.You can find all about it here.

Let me know if this helps, Eric!
