Windows update caused "couldn't start dropbox - permissions error"

My Windows just updated to build 18363.592, and as a result Dropbox won't start. Here is the error log:

(Incidentally, the new build has caused at least one other application issue - Mozilla Thunderbird's spellchecker database has gone awol.)

It looks like your user profile folder changed from Jan to Jan.000, so items that Dropbox references will either be not found or not have the correct permissions. You'll want to do an advanced reinstall of Dropbox.
