hello, I have just downloaded the dropbox software to install it on my laptop, but when I logged in I saw the message "There was a problem completing this request". And I also don't see a Dropbox folder in my laptop
try to search the dropbox app from start/windows logo
and then sign in, dropbox folder appear automatically in your file explorer
if you can't find the app, maybe the installer corrupted
So, it sounds as though the installation, or your registration, in the app has failed.
Have you checked to see that the application is truly installed? You can look in (on windows) control panel -> Programs and Features, or Apps & Features from the "settings" view.
If Dropbox is not listed in the Apps & Features view in Settings - Apps, then Dropbox never installed.
I suggest downloading and running the installer again.
If it is listed, make sure that Dropbox shows in the Start Menu.
Also try rebooting your computer before attempting to launch it again.
If it still fails, try uninstalling (from Apps & Features) then reinstalling from the site.
