desktop folder attached to a subfolder in dropbox without me doing it manually. How?

Explorer | Level 3

I have a busienss laptop with my personal dropbox folder. Somehow, the dropbox shows a copy of my busienss desktop folder in it, even though I did not port it. Perplexing how it happened?

Hi @rshukla - this is odd, indeed! I do not know of any possibility of this happening automatically. So, I'd guess that this was an accidental move, perhaps an inadvertent cursor click. Or, if you're working with shared folders, perhaps another member of the folder made the move by accident.

Were you able to reverse this and put the folder in its proper place?

Hi Alexis, thanks for your response, I guess it was inadvertent cursor click then. I will try to remove the folder. Can i just delete it from Dropbox app without impacting it in the local C drfive?

Hi @rshukla! Apologies for the delay here. You'll have a few different options for removing the folder. Take a look at this help page for more info.
