No error msg when I run Dropbox - I click on the dropbox icon and nothing happens.
Dropbox does not appear in my system tray.
I don't have any antivirus or firewall running.
Currently Dropbox is not of any use for me, I cannot even uninstall it, and I pay for the professional software.
Hi adilahav,
Have you tried restarting the computer after installing it? How about running it as an administrator? How about killing its process through Task Manager and then launching the program?
Are you launching Dropbox through the Start Menu or a desktop icon? Try the other method and see if it changes anything.
To force the program to uninstall, you can try deleting the C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox folder and then uninstalling it through the Control Panel.
You can also try installing it using the offline installer to see if that changes anything: https://www.dropbox.com/downloading?plat=win&type=full

I ran "DropboxUninstaller.exe" as administrator.
It starts uninstalling, but after few seconds it stops and says:
"Drop failed to uninstall".
Hey @adilahav,
Can you just check for me before you try unintalling, if when you open up your Task manager you have any Dropbox processes still running on your computer? If so, please can you end all of these tasks and try uninstalling again.
Let me know if this helps - Thanks!
