dropbox system extension not showing up

Hi there,

I just installed dropbox on a brand new MacBook. I'd like to activate SmartSync. The setupwizard ist opening my system-preferences/security/ and wants me to accept the system extension.

BUT: There is no system extension which I can accept. It's simply not showing up in my preferences 😞

Any Ideas what I can to to install the extension?

Ah thanks, I evidently overlooked that in the original posting, my apologies - particularly when https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Installation-and-desktop-app/Os-X-10-13-High-Sierra-amp-Smart-Sync/m... this long running thread shows the smart sync issue doesn't appear to be isolated to brew install versions 😞
