iOS 14 shortcuts

iOS 14 shortcuts

Has anyone figured out a workaround for accessing (other than top level) files through Shortcuts in iOS or iPadOS 14?

Or has anyone heard about when a fix might be ready?

Hi there @Bob772; thanks for joining our Community!

I'm assuming that you're referring to what's been discussed in this thread; correct?

Let me know if that's right and I'll see what I can find from my end in the meantime.

Thanks!

Yes, pobably.  Thanks.

But it is not the same as the iOS 12 bug.

More on reddit here and here.

In that case, could you also post some example screenshots of how it looks like on your end so we can have a better visual, Bob?

Hey, i'll jump in, since I haven't heard anything on the other thread.

Here's a link to a screen recording, so you can see the bug in action, in two ways.

I'm showing my Transfer folder at the root of my dropfox folders, which contains 3 files.

Then I run a Shortcut which uses the Get File action on the Transfer folder. Instead of returning a list of the files, it returns the name of the parent folder, "Transfer."

Then I run a Shortcut which uses the Get File feature, but has me pick a folder. as you can see, I cannot pick a folder via this method.

As I have mentioned before, I signed up for the paid version of dropbox because of this functionality, so I would love to get some feedback on this. I would at least love to know whether this is a dropbox issue or an apple issue. please send some guidance!
