"Enable Finder Integration"

"Enable Finder Integration"

I hope I'm asking in the right place. Did Dropbox do away with the "Enable Finder Integration" option? When it's *disabled* the image dimensions are displayed in the Finder with my pictures rather than "up to date"... That's what I want, to disable it. I don't want the big green check mark. I can't find the "Enable Finder Integration" option in preferences anymore.

If you go to system preferences > Externsions > Finder Extensoins

You should be able to disable finder integration.

Hope this helps!

Hey there @happy2fly - how are you today?

Can you clarify this for me as I'm not sure what you mean exactly? Specifically, what do you mean when you say "When it's disabled the image dimensions are displayed in the Finder with my pictures rather than "up to date"?

In addition, you should be able to enable or disable this option through your desktop app's preferences on the General tab as you mentioned . If you're not getting that option, could you send me a screenshot so I can have a better look into this?

Thanks in advance!

This is what my preferences General tab looks like now. The "Enable Finder Integration" option is gone.

Also been having a hard time with this today, latest update is a piece of... can't believe they remove that option, now I go to the foler and have those horrible green check marks, also I click on any other single file and it says "move to dropbox" option, just horrible update, if they don't make it available again, I'm deleting this app and start using OneDrive or Google Drive.

Yes, since the last update the option to disable the finder integration disappeared from the general settings tab! Please add it again, looking at hundreds of green icons on the screen makes the finder for me unusable right now...

Agreed. This is awful. Please bring it back.

Me too. We need this option to be back 😞

Please add this option again.

Some users do not want green checkmarks and a bunch of contextual menus.
