"Something went wrong" after fresh install of win10 (with Mcafee disabled)

"Something went wrong" after fresh install of win10 (with Mcafee disabled)

After a restore from factory settings- deleting everything and install of dropbox, on attempting to get the signin screen, I get the rather discriptive error message: "Something went wrong".

I've disable antivirus and firewall, uninstalled dropbox several times and restarted and I still get this error.

I done the offline download (version 112.4.321) and reinstall still: "Something went wrong" before I get a chance to enter my username/password.

What can I do to install this?

When you say you reinstalled the app,did you perform an advanced reinstall using the steps in this link?
