sign-in failed on new iPhone

Hello, I just upgraded to new iphone x.  Running latest ios, all apps updated.  When I try to sign in with drop box app it says sign-in error check username and PW. These are correct and I am able to log on my computer. I have tried many times, restart,  also deleteing and reinstalling app.  I also signed out of dropbox app on my old phone.  any Ideas?

It used to be the case that some charasters (especially none ascii ones) would fail on mobile devices. So, you may want to change your password to somethin very simply at www.dropbox.com/account, use that simple password to link to your mobile and once thats been managed change it to something stronger again.

It used to be the case that some charasters (especially none ascii ones) would fail on mobile devices. So, you may want to change your password to somethin very simply at www.dropbox.com/account, use that simple password to link to your mobile and once thats been managed change it to something stronger again.

Do you have two-factor setup for this account, and were you prompted to enter your two-factor code during the login flow on your iPhone X?

Hi, thanks for your reply.  While I was waiting, I decided just to change my password to see if a fresh start might help.  It did! Not sure why, because everything worked on everything else previously.  I do have two-factor enabled but it never got that far.  Anyway, problem solved now, thanks.

I did change PW and that solved it.  My old one was generated by 1 password and ended with "da-" thanks for respponses from everyone.
