why is dbfseventsd 32-bit

Helpful | Level 5

Quoting https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205739106-Stable-Build-3-14-7:

  • [Mac] On 64-bit OS X, Dropbox will run as a 64-bit application (except for dbfseventsd)

Ok… so… why is dbfseventsd not 64-bit? It's the last 32-bit process that runs on my Mac.

I'm wondering about this too. Now that MacOS 10.13.4 is warning about 32-bit apps, it seems like a good time to move to 64-bit.
