Hi @ronomalley, thanks for joining the community!

Dropbox is aware of the recent vulnerability disclosure made by a security researcher and is working quickly to release a patch for this vulnerability in a way that does not impact the stability of our desktop client.

This patch should be available early in Q1. This bug can only be leveraged in limited circumstances and, to date, we haven’t received reports from our customers of this vulnerability being exploited.
