Hi,
I am the IT guy for company "A" which have a Dropbox For Business solution where users are authenticated via/from MS Azure AD (which works great).
Now I want add users form a differnet company "B" to this solution, since
company "B" is on a different o365 Tenant than "A", they are unable to authenticate.
Is it possible to have a DFB setup where users are authenticated from 2 different o365 tenants (2 different Azure AD) .
I am not trying to avoid paying for new licenses - for serveral reasons I just want one solution.
Hello @aandersen1304.
This is a good question and thanks for sharing your user case with us.
You cannot use the AD connector on two domain controllers or with two domains. I understand you are looking for a way to workaround this, but unfortunately I was unable to find an alternative way for this to work.
Let me know if you have more AD Connector questions. Thanks!

Hi Fiona,
Thank you for your answer - it makes sense.
Is it possible to validate lets say 50% of the users via 2FA (e.g. Google Auth.)
and the other 50% via MS Azure (our current solution) ?
You can enable 2FA for the whole team, or have it optional. Here is a direct link to the 2FA team settings of your Admin console.
Set it as "optional" to allow the members that want to use it, set it up. Steps to enable 2FA.
As for Azure, this is enabled for the whole team. You can find the steps set up the Dropbox Active Directory Connector here.
Let me know if your find the articles helpful and of course any other questions you might have.
Thanks!
