Our Admin for dropbox had left the company and didn't pass her admin access onto another member and her email is expired now so she can't log back into to drop box. How do I gain admin access back so that I can remove her and add someone else to the account?

Hi @andradjb; thanks for joining our Community.

 

I'm sorry to ask, but was the only admin on the team account you're referring to?

 

Also, I'm not quite sure why she's unable to log into that account as it doesn't require access to the email that used for the account, only if there's a need for a password reset. 

 

That said, if you're getting billed for the account, I'd suggest contacting our support team so we can help with cancelling the account to prevent further charges.

Hi Walter, 

 

She was able to log in but it asked her to reset her pw and since her email is no longer working she can't do that. She was the only admin under the account. Yes I would like to contact dropbox to help reset this, how can I do that?

In this case, I'd suggest trying an incognito window (without signing into any account) to contact our support team to help look further into this. 

 

When on this page, click on the 'Need help with a billing issue?' button and submit a Help Request from the relevant option at the bottom of the page and input your payment's information along with an email address we can reach you. 

 

Or else, again through an incognito window, have her contact our team through this form so we can assist further.
