Clicking gear icon pushes me back to the top of the page

Explorer | Level 4

I'm currently trying to remove inactive users from my team.  Everytime I click on the gear icon next to the user's name it just pushes me back to the top of the page.  I can get the options to come up for the users at the top of the page, but if i scroll down to any other users and try to click it, it just bumps me back up to the top of the page.  Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?  Thank you in advance.

Hi @Snake_Plissken. Thanks for sharing this experience.

I understand you are on our website and things are not loading. Let's see if this is a browser issue:

  • Clear your browser's cache.
  • Try Incognito Mode/ Private Browsing mode .
  • Restore your browser to its default settings and disable any browser plugins. The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a security setting or a plugin that you have installed on your browser.
  • Use a different browser like Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Chrome.

I believe this will help. Let me know how this goes please.

Thank you!

Hi Fiona,

Thank you for taking the time to answer.  I tried everything you suggested, but to no avail.  HOWEVER, it did occur to me that I could sort by "Spaced Used," lowest to highest.  This brought the users I needed to remove to the top of the page, thus enabling me to click the gears icon.  So I haven't exactly solved the problem, but I was able to accomplish my goal.  I'll keep trying on my end to find a solution to kicking me to the top of the page.  Thanks!

Andrew

Hey there @Snake_Plissken!

Have a nice week.

This sounds like a browser issue. Please try the following:

  1. Another browser
  2. Clearing your browsers cache. 👣 Steps
  3. An incognito/private browsing window.
  4. Finally, you can always restore your browser back to it's default settings and remove any browser plugins.

If the issue persists, I am here for you.

Let me know. Thanks!
