Convert Pro Team to free team

Explorer | Level 4

I created a team during the trial of Dropbox for business.  Upper management has not made a decision on our long-term file transfer needs so we did not continue use of the business features but we have continued using the free version of Dropbox.

One member of the team has a full dropbox and refuses to deal with the issue.  Because the team was created during the trial, I cannot remove this person from the team.  The only option I have is to delete the team.

What happens to the shared folders in the team folder if I delete the team?

Is it possible to convert from a business team to a free team?

Hey TroyBaker,

If you had created a team during your Business trial, then when you didn’t continue with the plan, you would have been automatically converted to a Free team.

When that happens, the team folder simply converts to a shared folder, and the admin who created the team folder, becomes the owner of it.

For more information on deleting or leaving the free team see https://www.dropbox.com/help/9124

I hope this helps!
Thanks

Thank you for your help.  I realized that part of the issue I was having was that I did not notice the three dots at the end of the row on the member listing.  The remove member option was there.
