Does Dropbox Support even exist?

I opened a support ticket and there was no visual, text prompt that it was even received or sent.

 

HELP!

hi..

my files in dropbox seem to be corrupted.

the word files are gibberish and pdf says they are corrupted.

 

can you pleae help?

Are you opening these files from your browser, online, or are you opening them from your local Dropbox folder on your computer?


Any information you can provide would be helpful.

Hi Sanchez,

what is the policy on tickets that have answers that have nothing to do with question and the responder automatically marks the questions as solved? I sent dropbox a question, I am a basic user and am ok with the delay, but is it acceptable for a support ticket to be marked as solved with an unsatisfactory response? And if I reopen it is 72 hours still the turnaround time?

As per your query, please keep in mind that sometimes our ticketing system may send automated replies, just to keep the user aware that we have received their request and an agent will respond soon. If, on the other hand, you're unsatisfied by a colleague's reply and your ticket was marked as solved without a solution, please let me know in your reply. 

 

Other than that, because I understand your concern, I'll make sure your comments are passed along to our customer experience team for future consideration.

It is impossible to contact support.  The email support page produces a form, but none of the dropdown menus work and without filling out these, the support request will not send.

As a first troubleshooting step, I'd advise you to try accessing our official support page: https:confused face:/www.dropbox.com/support through an incognito window, so that you eliminate interference by plugins or security settings on a browsing session. 

 

In case you still experience any difficulties, please submit a ticket through our Community link: https:confused face:/www.dropboxforum.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/SupportPage-SearchSolutions

 
Once you log the ticket on our system, please let me know a ticket ID in your reply, so that I follow-up on your request.
