File Upload - Email Trigger

I am wondering if it is possible with dropbox to setup some type of email trigger, so that when a file is uploaded to a certain folder or uploaded to a folder within a specific folder structure, it emails the uploaded file to a specific email address?

Hey @afinney, great question! What you have in mind can be achieved with our File Requests feature, as there’s an email triggered each time people upload files. Have you by any chance tried this functionality & see if that’s what you’re looking for?

If my recommendation doesn’t serve the purpose this time, would you mind elaborating a bit on what would be the ideal end-result, in order to cross-check the info on my resources & see if there’s a different way to accomplish that?
