Folders & Permissions

Folders & Permissions

New member | Level 2

How do I create folders with permissions to people outside of my team?  I've tried setting permissions, but the people I've added do not receive an email with the share request.

Hi @Blueyefx

You can share files with anyone, including people without Dropbox accounts, by sharing a link to any file or folder. If you need to work with someone on files, you can create a shared folder. Files in shared folders sync between members’ Dropbox accounts, so each member of a shared folder needs a Dropbox account.

If you have already invited someone, but the person didn't receive your invite, ask them to check here: https:confused face:/dropbox.com/share to see if there's any pending invite to accept from you.

Hope this helps! Let me know how this goes and happy Sunday
