Is it still not possible in 2022 to hide folders from users who don't have permission?

Meaning in a project-folder there are some folders for the management that shouldn't be seen by every teammember.

A unauthorized user sees the folder and can enter it, but it is empty. This could be confusing for this user.

We want to store all stuff for the project in one folder otherwise it gets to fragmented and unclear where to find related files.

This "problem" has already been addressed several times with votes. I need to decied weather we are ging with a business plan or just a normal plan.
