I should probably mention I am on the trial version. Another thread with this problem was solved stating that an Admin should have this authority. But I am an admin yet I cannot remove a file from the team space. I get the following message:
"Can't move "filename.pdf" to Dekstop folder"
"Moving this shared file to your Desktop would remove it for everyone else at "my company" Learn more about sharing" I've read all the qualifiers at the HELP link and I beleive I've met them all... I would think an Admin would have unlimited power to move things...

Hi there, thanks!
I am working through the Desktop App. The Desktop folder in question is my PC desktop ( ie. not part of my dropbox account)
The sequence of events was this: 1) I moved a PDF into the team folder, 2) tried to move it back out to my PC desktop, and thats when I got the error.
It just doesnt make sense to me... to have power to add, but not to subtract... as an admin
