I joined a team account and my personal one was merged into the team. Help!

Hi @Maxholt 

Yes, you have become part of the team - you are warned this happens repeatedly during onboard, so much so it tries to force you to create a secondary account. 

Easiest way to fix is to set up a new account, link the two of them if you want them both on your computer at the same time and then simply move anything personal out of the Team account in to your own.

Once you have set up the new account and then linked them (as per other help articles) you will get two Dropbox folders on your computer. They will act like any other folder on your machine so its just a case of 'drag and drop'
