Joined a business account -- don't want to

Explorer | Level 3

I'm an exisiting personal DB user. A client got a business account and tried to share his folder with me but all I could do to actually see their folder was to join their account. So I joined their account and now all my stuff is on their account but their trial is over so I can't sync anymore. I just want to have my own account again but have access to their folder without being under their account. I'm at a total loss. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Hi there @moroneypatrick

Welcome to the Dropbox Community!

Since you mention that the team's trial has ended, you should be able to leave it by:

  1. Signing in.
  2. Choosing your work account at the bottom left.
  3. Clicking Groups and members or #members that's next to your team name.
  4. Selecting Leave team.

Hope this helps!
