Moving business user from one company to another one

Hi Everyone

I want to add a dropbox user to my business team. Right now this user account is linked with another company dropbox business group.

How to do it so that all the data will stay active?

Many thanks

Lauri

Hi @GECC LP, thanks for posting today!

If the user is already a member of another Dropbox Business team, then it won't be possible to have them join your team. They'll need to ask their admin to convert their account to a personal plan away from the team, so that you can then invite them.

Bear in mind that any shared folders or team folders exclusive to that team will not be available when the user returns to a personal account.

Hope this helps to clarify matters!
