My refund from Dropbox is taking too long

My refund from Dropbox is taking too long

Hello I’m haveing an issue as I have sent a ticket to the Dropbox support team to talk about how and when I will be recovering my refund from them for my business account. My ticket number is 8191743. Since I requested my refund which I was told I was going to receive I have had to cancel the card used on the web sight will this be an issue or can it still enter my account. As I said yesterday refunds take about 3 to 5 days. Thats nothing to do with Dropbox thats simply the way the banks work. Refunds from ANY organisation take that timescale.

As soon as its processed the money is taken from Dropbox and it goes to the banking system (i.e. the people who process the cards for Dropbox), but, then its in the hand of the banks.

 

That said it will just go back to the same account as the people you get the card off will know what your 'old' number was and just allocate it to that - when they cancel cards they actually just stop charges on it via the card / numbers not reoccuring ones or refunds etc. 

 

Also, I've deleted your duplicate posts, please only post one in a relevant area, multiple ones can trigger the spam filters which would remove everything you post.

I agree with all of that all I was asking here was will the money still be credited back to my scout if I have had to cancel the card but not the account.

Good luck!

As an aside (assume you are in UK from earlier posts?) your bank should be able to tell you when it will credit to your card the day before it will AND depending upon the card they *may* be able to stop interest charges on it if you call and explain to them a refund is coming in shortly.
