I am the administrator of this iMac. After I changed the home folder User "Name" I repaired permissions User/Utility/disk utility.app. When I booted up I got the message "Need to change permissions for folder /User/administrator/.dropbox." Unfortunately I can't find the folder to which the message refers. I deleted the login for dropbox at "System Preferences/User & Groups/login items" which killed the message on boot but dropbox didn't load. I tried reinstalling Dropbox but the message reappeared. The message says to contact Dropbox. Hmm!
