New Teammember...do they need a business account?

Hi all!  I have a new team member who only has a personal DropBox acct.  Do they have to make and pay for a business account in order for me to share files/folders with them?  We tried it yesterday using her personal account but anything she added to the Dropbox folders was hidden from everyone else.  TIA!

Hey @betsy2816, thanks for posting your question here.

Generally, you can share with others outside of your team by sending them a shared folder.

Depending on the permissions that you've given them, they'll be able to add and/or view content.

However, they'll have to make sure that they have enough space to add the folder and add new content to it.

Having said that, could you ask them to check if they can see the files through the website and if they have enough storage available?

Let me know what they find, cheers!
