Password-protected link doesn't ask for password the second time I try to access it on my browser.

When a link shared is password protected, will the person acessing that link be asked to enter the password EACH time they access that link file? I want to make sure that access isn't automatically granted after the first access of the protected file using the correct password.

I tested this out with a colleague and they were able to access the password protected file WITHOUT entereing the password on the second try.

Hi Alexis, generally each time the browser is closed the link should require the password to be re-entered again. 

While the browser is open, even in the background, then the link remains ‘open’ for ease of access in case users need to re-download the file again.
