Personal account of member lost after deleting business Account. Help!

Personal account of member lost after deleting business Account. Help!

Explorer | Level 3

Hello guys, help.
Free Business account trial added a new member to share a folder.Second Member was then removed and the business account was deleted. The member ( not owner of account) can not access his personal dropbox and has lost all files. But non of his personal files were shared on the business platform. He has been asked to create a new account. Please help.

Hi @JOY, thanks for messaging today!

 

It sounds like the user was deleted from the team, which would delete their account.

 

You can ask the team admin to add the member back to the account, and then convert that account back to a personal Basic plan away from the team.
