(This person either has a personal account or is goig to create a personal account.)

  4. File request Folder
  5. Paper documents

Thank you!

Hi @jazzmeg1, thanks for posting today!

Assuming that the team admin converts their account back to a personal account away from the team (since users can't leave a paid team on their own), then the article above explains what data is kept on the account.

If you need any more details, feel free to message back!

Linking my business account to my personal account.

Hello

Now I see the "Add team account" option from the initial icon on my PERSONAL account website.

But you can link your business account to your personal account only when the admin gives the permission even though this option is shown.

Is that correct?

Thank you.

This is a different feature to joining a Dropbox Business team.

If you have separate personal and work accounts with different emails, you can pair the two, so they both can be accessed, and have separate Dropbox folders on your computer.

The team admin can prevent this option via the admin console, for security purposes.

Changing from work-plan to private

I dont need a businessplan anymore. I Just want to buy a personal plan plus. But it wont let me since my email is used to the old work plan. How do I change my plan from work to personal? Do I have to delete my work account first? And if so, Will my files be lost?

Hi @Chnilsen, let's see what we can do here!

If you're on a paid business plan, all you'd need to do is to downgrade on your next renewal date.

After that, you'll be able to go ahead, and purchase the individual plan you want.

Your files are safe. If your account becomes over quota, all that should happen is that syncing stops.

Want to give it a go, and let me know how it goes?
