What is the Version System of Dropbox. How can we find "Major, Minor,Update" from 33.4.23 version?

There really is no number signifying a major version, despite what Dropbox might say. You could say it's the X. in X.Y.Z, but it increases regularly with seemingly minor updates. The Y is used to determine the build type. I don't remember what the .1 and .2 would be other than internal builds, but .3 is beta and .4 is stable. The Z would be the minor updates.
