When we move folders, our desktop apps sync again?

When we move folders, our desktop apps sync again?

New member | Level 2

Whenever a lot of folders moves around the our whole folders gets resynced.

Here are some screenshots of what is going on. Whenever this happens, this person's dropbox is not workable.

We have the smart sync enabled if this does affect anything.

Is there any solutions to this ?

Hi there @JMCM!

When you make any changes to the contents of your Dropbox account, those changes need to be applied across the website and any connected devices. Those changes are thus synced

However, if the desktop app causes a device to slow down due to high CPU or RAM usage, I’d recommend checking this article out for some suggestions on how to tackle this

If the user is still experiencing trouble with this though, please advise them to contact our Support team for a more in-depth investigation on the matter.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
