Why counldn't every one in your business just use the same Dropbox?

Because it would be a security nightmare - same reason you do not all use just one log on to the network.
If something was deleted, removed or damaged how would you know who did it?
Also, every single person with the password is an account owner (unless via Business). So, at ANY point ANYBODY could delete all the files, change the password or email etc. and cause chaos.
