Your users are running old versions of Dropbox, update soon!

I got this message today:

We see that one or more Dropbox Business users on your team are running an old version of Dropbox on their computer. We regularly release new versions with additional features, better performance, and security enhancements.

These old versions will be retired soon. Please have your Dropbox Business users update their Dropbox application so that they can continue using Dropbox. The latest version of Dropbox is always available here.

Click here to see which of your users are running old versions.

When I click  here and log in this is the message I get:

Everyone in your team is running a supported desktop or mobile client.

What does that mean? Are they all on the old version? Or are they all on the new version?

Hey there @Fearless, how are you today?

As the message states, this means that all of your team's members are running an up-to-date and supported versions of our desktop and mobile apps.

If you'd like to, you can also have them (or you can even do it yourself if you're an admin on our Advanced or Enterprise plan for Dropbox Business teams, by 'Signing in' as them) check manually for our most recent stable builds through the pages below:

1. For our desktop client: (https:confused face:/www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Beta-testers/ct-p/101003000

https:confused face:/www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Desktop-client-builds/Stable-Build-69-4-102/m-p/335356#M5235

2. For our mobile application you can just check for updates on the mobile device's app store:  https:confused face:/www.dropbox.com/mobile

I hope this information helps and I'll also see if there's anything we can do to amend the wording of this notification to avoid any confusion in the future - thanks for reporting this.

Let me know if you have any questions!

PS: If you'd like account specific assistance you can log a ticket with our team from the following page: https:confused face:/www.dropbox.com/support

How do you find out which user is running the old version?

Supposing you're the team's Admin, I'd suggest giving my previous suggestions a go @Woodgnome.

Let me know what you find!
