dbupdate floods my network

dbupdate floods my network

In the last week, twice my network is saturated with dbupdate traffic.
This appears to be an update to the dropbox app itself and goes beyond normal sync traffic.

 

Across the board, EVERY CLIENT is getting a dropbox update.

It is absolutely impacting ALL network operations.

This is unacceptable and also very typical for this application, I continue to be unimpressed.

How can these updates be staged or deployed locally so there is some degree of control.

I'm afraid there are no ways of altering this.

If you are a Business customer though (i.e. a paying Business user) I suggest speaking to your Support reps via the Admin panel to ask about best setups in a Business.
