ONe of my clients asked me to join their team folder many years ago. They don't use dropbox and I want out of their team but they've had turnover and have no clue what to do. How can I get my own account back and out of the team. It seems I might have to start over again. Any thoughts are welcome
How can I get my own account back and out of the team.
If you're a member of a Business team you won't be able to leave it on your own. The team admin will need to convert your account back to an individual account. It's very important that they don't simply remove you from the team. Doing so would delete your account and you'd no longer be able to access it. If that were to happen, the team admin would only have seven days to restore the account. Only the team admin can convert your account back. Not even Dropbox can do it.
