invited team member need password

invited team member need password

Explorer | Level 3

I just upgrade to Business trial account from personal, I follow the step and invite team member, by add email address, he get an invitation and Dropbox ask for an email and password.

question is what password ? He is not Dropbox user before.

put in his email password or my password does not work

what next?

Hey there @ipitono,

If they don't currently have a Dropbox account under the email address that you invited to the team, then they will be asked to create a new password. They will need to do this so they can sign into Dropbox in the future.

To ensure this is the case, will see two rows for entering and then confirming the new password. If not, then it's possible the email address already has a Dropbox account and the password can be reset from here.
