Folder Tree View on web interface

In the web view of Google Drive there is a Folder tree view on the left hand side. it allows for easy movement between folders and for dragging and dropping between folders on different branches when you need to organise stuff without access to a PC.

Please, please copy/steal/independently come up with a similar implementation.

Thanks!

Tree view shoulda been in Dropbox from day 1. (Both web view and desktop app view)

Can't believe years later we are still asking for this very basic and much needed feature!!!

Completely agree, tree view for Paper is sorely needed.  We need better tools to navigate, sort, and manipulate Paper folders and files.  The current tools are archaic and tedious.

+1 great idea

It is not convenient to browse folders using only crumbs. If the structure is displayed in a form of a tree (like explorer) it will be easier to navigate quickly thru folders. This is very useful when you have hundreds of folders and subfolders.

Yes, definitely need shortcuts to favorite folders in the web interface so that I don't have to hunt through a tree structure to get to most commonly used folders (which I want to remain buried in the tree structure to keep a logical organization to the folders). On my PC I can accomplish this with Windows Explorer favorites shortcuts.

Since we are moving a lot of files and folders, that would be great to have it work like Windows Explorer, with folders on the left column and folders and files on the right windows, so you can drg and drop files in 1 click instead of 4

Hi there,

So it's May 2017 and I've arrived here looking for this same functionality. I'm going to assume it does not exist still based on the above but would love to hear from someone if that is not the case....
