Please provide option to disable screenshot keyboard shortcuts

Dropbox windows client.

Dropbox will reserve PrintScn and other shortcuts even if camera and screenshot upload is disabled. Please provide option to disable these shortcuts.

See here. Please provide a way for Dropbox to disable reserving this shortcut that is used by my screenshot program (FastStone Capture).

I'm having the same problem (conflict with FastStone). What do you say Dropbox. Will you fix this instead of changing the way I had my computer set up to work and wasting my time with Google searches instead of what I really sat down to do tonight?

I just spent ages looking for a solution to this and can't find one.
So add my name to the list of people requesting this.

Me too. Annoying shortcut and dropbox doesn't provide any way to let me disable it.
I would uninstall or unsubscribe dropbox just because of this shit feature.

Dropbox isn't set to save screenshots and yet it has bound to the systems screen capture keyboawrd shortcuts. This is preventing another application (screenpresso) from aquiring these.

So I'm telling dropbox not to do this, but it's still doing it anyway.

I agree with all of this. Give us the option to at least set and unset the hotkey for capturing.

There is an option to disable print screen hotkeys:

Click on the Dropbox icon -> Cog -> Preferences -> Import. Uncheck Share screenshots using Dropbox setting. I had to turn it on and then off again for the setting to actually disable itself.></p>

I'm having the same problem, I use another screen capture program and it can no longer grab the hotkeys even though I uninstalled dropbox and reinstalled.

SS from above had the correct fix, and it worked for me with Screenpresso.

OK, here's what I did. I unchecked the option in Dropbox, exited and restarted Dropbox. Then I went back into Greenshots and turned on the PrtSc hotkey in Greenshots. Now it works like it did before. So the second bit may be what you are forgetting to do. Go into your other program and re-select the hotkey there.
