Yours is the first response, just want to disable the download option.

In Google Drive, you can allow others to view your file while preventing them from printing or downloading files. Especially with media content, e.g. ads, where copyright and intellectual property is involved, protecting files from being downloaded is crucial. I hope this feature gets added. Thanks!

Chris J., I am not seeing a similar option to that of Google Drive from the two links you sent. I also want to prohibit uploads from being downloaded or printed and only want them to be viewed.

That's not possible. The view-only option allows someone to view and/or download the file. There is no option to prevent it from being downloaded.

Is there an answer for this Question...Dropbox Support?

It isnt possible to do this.

It also isnt how the internet works, unfortunately. If a user views a file, they have downloaded it.

Yes but you do not have to make it easy for people to download by offering a button. Offering passwords with expiring links is a good first step in protecting content, but if they can download it, and have access, what is the point? Unless their access to the downloaded file becomes terminated with the expiration of the link?

Does that  happen?

No it doesnt - because the file is on their machine and has no link/connection back to you or Dropbox.
