dropbox mobile app: dates and times

Helpful | Level 5
Is there a way to view the creation/modified date/times for files on the mobile app? I see rough 'relative dates' when sorting by time last modified (e.g. 5 days ago, 2 weeks ago, etc), which is too imprecise. I find it counterintuitive that an app focusing on file storage/backup may be hiding the dates/times of files. I've sent feedback on this via the app at least twice. Would appreciate advice, e.g. on whether there's a workaround without having to log into the desktop site. Tested on iPhone.

No, there isn't. Personally, I'd like to find the original person that "invented" the idea of relative dates and times and strangle them. I hate them. Everywhere. They serve no practical purpose.

I think relative dates/times can be useful in certain areas - including for comments on forums/blogs/sites/etc in which it provides a quicker idea of how long ago the last comment was made - although the precise timestamp should still be retrievable if needed (e.g. by hovering over the relative timestamp, as in the forum here). However, relative timestamps should never be the only option when it comes to a file management system like Dropbox. Completely ridiculous and I will be sending Dropbox feedback on this (and I recommend others do the same) until this is fixed.

Looks like this feature was recently added; the precise date/time can now be seen in the file view menu (3 dots at the top). Thanks for listening!
